Bobcats Football 2023 Season

The Bobcats 2023 Season was another great season.  I really enjoyed myself, and I learned a lot about what I need to do, to provide better video content.  During the next to last football game of the season, I lost a lot of my equipment, due to rain.  Plus, my main computer had took, all it could.  It crashed the last week of the season.  Yeah, it was a bummer.  Below, you can read what I had wrote at the first of the 2023 season, and it will give you a good idea about what my plans for the 2023 season were.
I really intended to cover more about the everyday routine, but Coaches are really funny about what you can and cannot show.  They are do not want to give any team, and advantage.  Which, I fully understand.  However, I am smart enough, not to show anything which may give up our game plan.  Either way, I was really limited on what I could, and could not show.
I intended to create a full video on each of the Bobcats playoffs games, and now I have a lot better understanding of how to provide a better story line, for my videos.  Though, I do still need to learn a lot.  And, I am working on learning more, each day.  Not sure what my next videos will cover, but I hope I can make them interesting, and provide videos, which people in the future can watch, and look back at this time period and remember me, and the things that I covered.  And find it interesting.
The great thing about my videos, is I am not worried about views, or worried about making any money off of them.  I just like doing them.  I would highly recommend, that everyone create as many videos as possible, now.  What better way to leave something, for those in the future, to remember you by.   20 years from now, I may still be around, but 30-40 years from now, it is very unlikely, that I am still here.  If I am, then WOW!  What a great, long life.  I hope I am, but if I am not, I will have left behind a few good years of videos, posted every day. Currently, I am nearing the 2-year mark of creating videos, and I can tell, that I have a lot more to learn.  I hope a year from now, I am still as excited, about creating videos.  And, I hope by then, I have gotten better.
I do want to thank anyone who is reading this, and if you have watched any of my videos, I thank you for that, as well.    Never hesitate to let me know what I can do to make better videos, and please share any tips, or pointers, you may have.  I know when I have a video that is shared often, that it was a decent video.  The only issue is, I hardly have any videos that are shared.  So, I know I still have a lot to do, to get better.  I do have some videos that have gotten over 100k views.  That is nothing big, and only a drop in the bucket.  But, it still made me happy.

I started covering the Bobcats Football program last season.  I already do the video for the Bobcats, so I thought I would add that to my list of Social Media Content Topics.  One, it helps the kids get recognized, and helps them get use to talking with others, on camera.  Also, I enjoy football and creating video content.
I have done the video for Coach OC (my brother) since 2002.  And was on a short leave for 6 years.  My last time doing the Video was while he was at Buckhorn High School, in New Market, Alabama.  And we were the first High School team to have and use Sideline video.  Which was what I set up for them to use.  I kick myself in the butt for not cashing in on that venture.  Now most High School use this technology.  Yet, my daughter was 9, and I had just opened a Dinner.  Which was a horrible idea.  Soon as I started, a new McDonalds was built, just down the road.  Yeah, it made it tough.
I also coached the kickers at Buckhorn, and really enjoyed that.  But I came back last season, and my brother asked me if I would do the video, and of course I said yes.  Which I love both football, and technology.  So, that's when I decided I would start highlighting the games, and the players.   continue below image.

I was just starting back with creating websites, and I had just started creating video content for my Social Media Platforms.  So, I was a little rusty at the start of the season.  By the end of the season, I had figured it out, and I feel like my Videos were getting better.  During the off season I created videos of my daily life, and for some clients, and was anxious for the season to start back.
My goal is to film the everyday routine of the players and the coaches.  I would love to start providing Long Form Videos, of what it takes to Coach a High School Football Program, and about all that goes into a winning football program.  I feel like most people are unaware of how hard the Kids and Coaches work.  Not to mention, all the extra time that goes into a winning football program.  continue below image

Practices, Watching Video, Workouts, and Games.  Watching video and studying themselves, and other teams.  On Game Night the Coaches do not leave till 3 or 4 a.m., on Saturday mornings.  Sometimes later.  Saturday, they are off, but spend most of the day watching video, and prepping for Sunday's, when they begin practice for the following weeks game.
I want to cover all of that.  Sure, it is going to be a lot of work.  And I may be biting off more than I can chew.  But I believe others would be interested in seeing this kind of content.  Along with the Player and Coaches Highlights, and interviews.  Which I create short videos of.  And will be doing those for sure this year.  You can visit my www.coachoc.us for more about the Bobcats.  I have created a new Web App for www.coachoc.us and I am excited to be able to share it with you guys.  If you are looking for a Team Management Application, then you will want to check it out.   This Application will work great for Coaches, Schools, and anyone who needs a Social Media Community website.  This App can even be placed into the major App Stores.  The App. is loaded with tools, and I will be working more on it, over the next couple of weeks.
Be looking for more of my Bobcats Football Videos coming soon, and for as long as I can do them.  If you have a team in our area that you would like to see highlighted you are welcome to contact me, and I will try to highlight them.  Also, if you are interested in Advertising or Sponsoring My content, then

As always, thank you for your interest and for your support.  You can Contact me  anytime with questions or comments.   --DOC
