"The only way to do great work is to love what you do." - Steve Jobs
One thing I can tell our youth is: you are who you are. That which you feel you need, you already have. We fill our landfills with items of junk that we felt we had to have, all in search of what already resides within us.
The toughest person to deal with is yourself. The faster you face yourself, the faster you will find happiness. Believe me, you can find it, for it is always with you.
Remember, those same thoughts and feelings you have are the same that we all share. The same mask that you wear are the same masks we all have worn.
"Be yourself; everyone else is already taken." - Oscar Wilde
To be yourself is the most difficult thing to be. Be honest with yourself. Focus on impressing yourself, not others.
Nothing is more precious than life. And life is a great game which we all play. Is someone your friend because you care for them, or because they have something you want? Whether it be material, status, or otherwise.
We all are just doing our best to survive, playing a game whose ending remains a mystery to all.
"Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced." - Søren Kierkegaard
If you look at each day as if it's your last, then you gain a step ahead. Think about it. How much would anything matter if you knew you only had one day left?
When you allow yourself to become angry, it's no one else's fault but yours. As I always say: You are your own Puppet Master. You have control of your own strings. So when someone makes you angry, you have allowed them to take control.
Be your own Puppet Master, and don't let anyone else take control.  Now, don't get me wrong. When I say "you," I'm talking about myself too.
This takes lots of practice. To start, remember that you are the one willing thoughts into existence.
Anytime I have a thought enter my mind, if it's negative, I instantly think of something positive, usually something funny.  If that bad thought tries to return, I replace it with another, funnier thought.
Someone might be thinking now: "But Doc, it's a bill I owe and I just don't have it." Or, "Doc, I got a speeding ticket and I don't have the money." Or "I got a bad grade, and my parents are going to be upset."
These thoughts eat at your mind. I know, believe me, I know.  Thinking about it won't help. What will be, will be. And what is, is.
"Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end." - John Lennon
It's going to be okay. Don't let these thoughts cause you grief. When they pop into your mind, think of something funny, instantly.
One benefit is that your subconscious will then be able to do its job. When you don't focus on the solution, your subconscious works for you. Then, out of the blue, it helps you.
I truly believe that it, or our subconscious, is when God steps in. We just have to allow it to happen.
The mask we wear and the grey area are both mankind's biggest challenges. From birth, we know right from wrong. A baby doesn't know the grey area, but surely knows right from wrong.
I'm not preaching, nor will I ever point a finger. I struggle with the same things we all do.
Be kind to yourself and others. Status is nothing but a human construct. Who will go into the grave with you?
That thing you just had to have - where is it now? Some like to sit back and watch others fall and say: "I told you so." Why do people attend daredevil acts? Is it to watch them succeed, or crash?
It's always easy to be an armchair quarterback. Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear. Not everyone wants to see you better yourself.
Own up to your mistakes. No one is perfect and nobody ever will be, until Jesus returns.
I tend to stray and jump around, but I hope some of my ramblings make sense. When I have the urge to share, I share.
I enjoy creating videos because we can. They allow me to express myself in my own way. I'm far from professional, just a person with a camera and some handy software. But it's fun, and I feel it's my way of helping encourage others. I didn't start making videos for benefits; I did it because we could.
A good friend shared with me the simplest solution: Finish what you start. So simple, it seems obvious. Yet, it's more difficult than it sounds.
When starting something, don't think you need the best of everything. Sure, it may make things easier, but what you must first do is start and be consistent.
This off-season, I begin my quest to go live. Learning the software to provide a good livestream has been exciting.
The question to help make a change with TSSAA has been interesting. I truly believe this new law will help our Tennessee athletes. But I'm no politician, nor attorney, so I don't know how it will end. They may have a huge grip on Tennessee sports, and I believe this will help hold them more accountable for their decisions. Anytime something grows into a monopoly, it's only human nature that it has its good and bad.
Either way, I'll be happy I had the chance to put in my two cents. And I won't have any ill feelings toward our politicians or the TSSAA. They're just doing what's best for their stakeholders and themselves. Bravo is all I can say.
"Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain." - Vivian Greene

SHARING MY THOUGHTS WHILE WALKING PUDDIN’
For the last 3 years I spent every cent I had trying to provide a service that I felt was worth it. Over the past few months, I have attempted to help make a change, in something, I felt needed changed.  These walks with Puddin’ really helps me clear my mind and keeps me physically in shape. Â
My plan was to be over watching some Football today, since Spring Practice has started. However, due to the lack of funds, I am not able to continue covering area High School Football.Â
It was fun and I have shown others what they each should be doing for their programs. My services are on the market. If you’d like for me to cover your area, or train your staff on how to provide solid social media coverage, you can contact me.
I attempted to get Sponsors and even donations, so that I could continue,  yet that came to a naught. I raised $50, and I am very thankful to the Family who showed me some love. For that matter, I will no doubt provide some videos for them. But, I am not going to be able to travel this Season.Â
I do have a Soort App which is about to be launched, and I have created my own Crypto Tokens, with wallets. Which, will be available, as well.
I actually have my own coin. But, I for sure, do not have the funds to invest in the servers needed to push the blockchain. Yet, I am working on that.Â
I provide Web, Email, and Cloud Hosting for private clients. Which means I maintain all my servers, and handle their I.O.T. for them. I am able to do it for a better few then what they would have to pay other companies, so I keep their business. Plus, my Servers stay up.  This is a full time job, in itself. And, I neglected it over the past Football Season. This caused me a month of catchup work, at the end of this past season.
I love creating videos and developing app’s.  My goal was to provide a positive, encouraging environment for those Teams that I covered. I was blessed to get to know many of the Athletes and I always tried to be supportive.
It saddens me, to say that I want be covering High School Football this Season. As you know, I planned to have covered Baseball and Softball this past Season. I couldn’t get any support, or raise any funds, so I could not do it.Â
I am still going to be creating videos and going Live more. What my Theme will be, is still being prayed for. As with anything, you have to have motivation, to be creative. Without motivation, nothing comes to mind.
Last Season, I was in contact with many Athletes, and they shared their Weight Lifting videos with me. They helped push me through the off season and gave me the drive to keep going.Â
This season, I may have received a few. They were not allowed to have cameras on during lifting. So, that slowed it down. Well, they can have it now.Â
Some publicity, is better than no publicity. I can share my thought and years of experiences, while sharing more in Puddin’ and our Cats. I will also be visiting more area businesses and hopefully some baseball during the Summer.
I really believe I am about to start a Baseball/Softball Hitting and Fielding Series. And, may add pitching in with it. I was a slugger and played College Baseball, until I blowed 2 disk in my Lower Back. And, thing went down hill from there. I don’t want that to happen to others and plan on sharing my trials and tribulations, to hopefully help others.Â
I reread the above, while I am walking with Puddin, and wanted to share my current thoughts. If you are a friend, or someone who does Support my videos, then there is a chance you may read this. If you are, THANK YOU very much! I’m just a simple Country Boy, who is just trying to do something positive, with what little time I have left on this planet! Take care and never hesitate to reach out to me.Â
